PARROTS -- Lorikeets and Cockatoos are most exuberant birds to photograph. They are all colourful with temperaments to match. When they are feeding together in larger flocks, the noise level can be unbelievable. Here the Lorikeets are busy feeding on a flowering gum (ficifolia).

Crimson Rosellas are abundant in the Dandenong Ranges, Vic. where they are found all year round. Sulphur Crested Cockatoos are big birds that can be very destructive!!
